1. Information we collect

When you create a C-Potly account we collect your email address, display name, optional avatar, and any profile details you choose to share. Business owners may add business name, address, hours, services, photos and social links.

We collect interaction data — swipes, likes, follows, posts, comments, messages and shares — to power the discovery experience.

With your permission we collect approximate location to surface nearby businesses. You can change or remove your preferred location at any time.

2. How we use your information

• Operate the swipe-discovery and messaging features.
• Send transactional and (with consent) push notifications.
• Detect abuse, fraud and policy violations.
• Improve the product through aggregated analytics.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with processors required to operate the service (hosting, push notification delivery, mapping) and when required by law.

4. Your rights

You can export a full copy of your data and permanently delete your account from Account Settings at any time. Deletion removes your profile, listings, swipes, follows and messages within 30 days. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or restriction of processing.

5. Data retention

We retain account data while your account is active. After deletion, residual backups are purged within 30 days.

6. Children

C-Potly is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
